Mission and Vision
The RoboChargers mission is to inspire, develop a growth mindset, and promote a spirit of self-efficacy by using fun and challenging project-based STEM programs as a vehicle for learning real world skills. We are a team that builds a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment while engaging in challenging activities which widen our world view.
It’s not about using students to build great robots; it’s using robots to build inspired young adults
Our vision is to impact the students of our school and community by opening opportunities for them to choose their life trajectory through participation in a sustainable and competitive, mentor-based STEM program.
Our School and Community
Our program is based within Emmett J Conrad High School located in the Vickery Meadows neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. Conrad’s 1200 students have the opportunity to participate a several different focused degree tracks including 5 different NAF Academies, H-Tech Collegiate Academy or Career and Technical Education.
The student body of Conrad is a reflection of our diverse and rapidly changing neighborhood. You can hear many languages and see traditional dress worn by students who have come here from around the world in our halls alongside student’s whose families have lived here for many generations.
